I loved it. The service was great. I visited on a Saturday and it was very lively. A bit loud but nice decor. As a visitor to Chicago, I will come every time I visit. Starters: steamed mussels with frites, tuna crudo, kale and apple salad. All delicious. DONT SLEEP ON THE KALE AND APPLE SALAD! It was amazing! Duck chinois. I typically don't like duck. This was the best darn duck I've ever tried! Linguine and clams were okay. Tasty but pales in comparison to the duck. We ordered the caviar nest petite size to share. Everyone loved this. * dip your fries in the caviar/ sauce

I am still dreaming about the pasta I had from here last night!!! I got the linguine and clams and it was probably the best linguine I've ever had. The sauce was really good and tons of clams in the dish. Appears small upon delivery but was just enough for me as we got appetizers also. My friend got the duck and it was incredible highly recommend and could also feed 3 if wanted to. The service was incredible and Cheryl took great care of us. The food came out pretty quick. Highly recommend the escargot for an appetizer. The restaurant is beautiful and definitely an "instagram worthy" picture spot. It was loud but I didn't mind it. If don't care for loud, I would suggest getting there for a late dinner after 8-830. We sat in a booth near kitchen so that might be why was a loud area also. I did notice they have outside seating I think so that would be a good option next time weather permitting.

One of the best new restaurants in Chicago. I thought it would be one of those social media hyped places but upon dining my opinion change completely. The inside is beautiful and the service was attentive and friendly. For the food, everything we tried was exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the French onion fondue. I enjoyed the linguine and clams too. I can't wait to go back!

Love love love La Serre! The ambiance is Insta-ready with flowers everywhere...and the food did not disappoint. Everything was super flavorful and served with care. The mussels and French onion dip were delicious! The scallops were amazing! Can't wait to visit again.

Food: the foie gras bite was definitely unique and very flavorful, worth the 11 dollars for just a bite, combines rich earth flavors with umami. Cocktail is nicely done. The rest of the food were good, but not outstanding. Free bread was nice! Although it wasn't as crunchy as I expected. Service: people are so nice. Free ice cream for birthday! They don't do walk in reserve unless you go physically and wait for a table, then it's first come first serve. Definitely west loop prices. Ambience: pretty but very loud :( I thought it is a restaurant but it's more of a bar vibe. Definitely go with friends, not ideal for a date in my opinion as you practically have to shout to be heard

An absolutely amazing dinner! My boyfriend and I recently had our date night here and we were blown away. First, I would absolutely recommend the caviar nest! The pasta was soooo rich and buttery. Though the portion was on the smaller size, it was so filling. I would also recommend getting the smallest amount of caviar - any more and I could imagine it overpowering the pasta. We also ordered the duck which was an insanely huge serving. It came with some crepes and veggies on the side and it was incredible. For dessert, we got the french toast with a brûlée exterior. It was so gooey on the inside and the cinnamon ice cream was a perfect pairing. I would come back in a heartbeat!

I came here for my birthday dinner with a big group of girls, and everything was outstanding! From the service to being so accommodating with my big group, it was perfect. We had some rounds of drinks- my smoke and spice cocktail, queen marie cocktail, and espresso martini were all very delicious and refreshing on this hot day. We started with French onion dip and cauliflower au gratin. Both were delicious shareables. I also had the gem salad, flat iron, and fries to share as my meal. Quality, taste, and portions were perfect. I also got a nice sweet cinnamon ice cream scoop with a sparkler for my birthday. Such a beautiful restaurant that lives to its high standard in west loop. It's difficult to come across trendy restaurants like this that do it this well for the price point!

This place is definitely a scene and a very loud one but the food slaps and it lives up to the hype. We didn't have a single bad bite between the tuna crudo, the escargot, the caviar nest, and the prime flat iron with frites. Caviar nest def the MVP though. Couldn't really hear each other talk but tbh I wanted some quiet time with the caviar nest anyway.
